Production notes
A refined blend of two-thirds fresh, ripe Merlot must and one-third one-year-old Cognac, aged in oak barrels for 4 to 5 years. Deep ruby robe with warm hints, intense aromas of dark fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry, morello cherry) spiced with cinnamon, licorice, vanilla, and occasional balsamic notes. Smooth, powerful, and well-balanced palate with an elegant, long finish. Best served chilled as an aperitif; pairs wonderfully with red berry tarts, chocolate cake, blue cheeses, or fruit salads.
