Product notes
Tawny Ports with an age indication (10, 20, 30, 40 years or more) are more complex and concentrated. The age indicated is the approximate average of the ages of Ports blended after aging in oak barrels (minimum 5 to 7 years in barrel)
Production notes
Pacheca's 20-year-old Tawny Port is made from several Ports aged in 550-liter barrels for many years. During the aging process, the wine loses its color and takes on a brownish hue, while its aromas acquire notes of oxidative aging.
Tasting notes
Bright amber color, elegant nose with pronounced notes of dried figs, walnuts and caramel. On the palate, it is extremely smooth, with an acidity that gives it freshness, where the notes of walnuts and caramel stand out again.
