About this winery
Located at the heart of Alsace beneath Château du Haut‑Koenigsbourg, Domaine Sainte Joie covers around 32 ha of clay‑limestone and granitic soils, with an average vine age of 30 years. Rooted in the Meyer family's generational winegrowing heritage—from Claudine and Hubert to Gilles and Noémie Meyer Ferré—the estate evolved: structured in 1992; converted to organic and biodynamic viticulture in 2012; formally established as Sainte Joie in 2022; and expanded to Bergheim in 2023....

Production notes
Organic farming. Crémants d'Alsace Brut Nature are produced according to the traditional method, characterized by the absence of added sugar (zero dosage) after disgorging, offering a very dry and pure profile.
Tasting notes
The wine is clear and bright with a lively stream of bubbles. The nose reveals floral notes such as verbena, followed by citrus and grapefruit aromas. On the palate, fruitiness dominates. Light and fluid, the wine is remarkably smooth. The attack is crisp and the mid-palate is full and ample. The wine's tension and salinity offer very pleasant thirst-quenching qualities. Its acidity provides structure and reflects a beautifully balanced overall character.
