Production notes
Hailing from the Bailo vineyard in Valpolicella, this Amarone from a great vintage embodies the class and tradition of the alchemical appassimento process that gives birth to powerful, concentrated wines made to last. Its deep blue ink-colored robe reveals powerful aromas of black cherries, plums, blackberries, and anise. Full-bodied and rich with flavors of dark fruits and soft spices, it is supported by enveloping tannins and remarkable freshness. The winemaker-alchemist truly masters the balance here.
