Production notes
Produced from a remarkable vintage (95 points Wine Spectator), this Barolo is in a class of its own. Sourced from the terroirs of La Morra, this prestigious cuvée spent three years aging in barrels, with no filtration and the utmost attention to detail. The result is a ruby-red robe with brilliant reflections, a nose that is already highly complex and intensely focused on black cherry, roses, tobacco, truffle, and balsamic notes. Built for long aging, the tannins are well present, giving the wine character while remaining smooth and pleasant. In short, it offers power, volume, and a long finish. This is a balanced wine that deserves to be discovered. Cheers!
