About this winery
Located at the heart of Alsace beneath Château du Haut‑Koenigsbourg, Domaine Sainte Joie covers around 32 ha of clay‑limestone and granitic soils, with an average vine age of 30 years. Rooted in the Meyer family's generational winegrowing heritage—from Claudine and Hubert to Gilles and Noémie Meyer Ferré—the estate evolved: structured in 1992; converted to organic and biodynamic viticulture in 2012; formally established as Sainte Joie in 2022; and expanded to Bergheim in 2023....

Product notes
The Perfect Pairing This wine pairs beautifully with aromatic and grilled cuisine. It complements stir-fried dishes with flavorful sauces, as well as Japanese-inspired creations such as tataki and tempura. Its structure supports bold flavors and harmonizes perfectly with subtle spicy notes.
Tasting notes
Its brilliant, shimmering golden color announces a dry, precise, and vibrant wine. The nose reveals aromas of exotic fruits such as lychee, complemented by white flowers and rose petals. The aromatic profile is expressive, elegant, and highly appealing. On the palate, the attack is generous and fresh. The finish stands out with a subtle, structuring bitterness that adds depth, complexity, and length to the wine.
