About this winery
In 1999, Don Pedro fulfilled his dream by establishing a winery in Enguera. Product notes
Although it is ready to be enjoyed in its youth, a few years in the bottle will increase its intensity and body. The fruity and floral aromas will evolve into elegant notes of honey, toast, and butter.
Production notes
Verdil, the estate’s most renowned white grape variety, comes from 20-year-old vines. Harvesting took place at night, and the grapes were quickly transported to the winery in order to preserve their varietal aromas. The juice remained in contact with the skins for approximately 7 to 8 hours. Fermentation then took place at 12 °C.
Tasting notes
A beautiful pale robe with light yellow highlights. The wine is distinguished by its great elegance on the nose. Floral aromas of jasmine and almond blossom are present, accompanied by numerous fruity notes such as pineapple, green apple, and green plum. Subtle hints of citrus, reminiscent of lemon, are also present. On the palate, it is a perfectly balanced wine, with a lovely presence and excellent acidity. The wine possesses a pronounced minerality, evoking a sunny day in Fontanars dels Alforins.
