Production notes
Tomero Cuartel 41 Malbec 2019 is a commanding yet elegant expression from a single parcel in Mendoza’s Uco Valley. Its deep, inky-purple hue sets the tone for a complex nose brimming with dark fruit—blackberry, cassis, plum—layered with graphite, tobacco, exotic spice, and discreet floral-herbal accents. On the palate, it impresses with opulent black‑fruit flavours intertwined with dark chocolate, licorice, and a subtle smoky streak. The tannins are silky yet firm, supported by vibrant acidity, while French oak ageing adds nuanced toast and minerality . The long, warm finish echoes roasted coffee and mineral undertones, offering a rich, structured finale . Pair it with roasted lamb, hearty stews, venison or mature cheeses. With 8–12 years of aging potential, it’s ideal for cellaring or immediate enjoyment.
