Since 1925, the Morales family has been enhancing the unique terroir of Labarca, located just west of Logroño on the northern banks of the Ebro River, in the heart of the Rioja Alavesa highlands (400–600 meters above sea level). This region enjoys an ideal climate and limestone-rich soils that shape the distinct identity of the wines. In state-of-the-art facilities, each cuvée is handled with great care before aging begins in the cellar. There, over 1,000 barrels — 70% French oak and 30% American oak — allow the wines to mature slowly, bringing out the elegance and authenticity of the Alavesa terroir.
